A desire to provide meaningful information
After graduating with an accounting degree from Virginia Tech, Barbara has held a variety of financial positions in both the public and private sector. She spent three years in public accounting in the Washington, D.C. area before moving to Connecticut and working for nearly 10 years in a variety of financial roles. After spending some time at home with young children and relocating to the west coast, she worked for a small public accounting firm as a consultant. Most recently, she was the controller for several years in nearby Portland, OR. Barbara brings her years of financial experience and desire to provide meaningful financial information to this exciting new role.

Spending time with her husband and three kids, which includes keeping up with her two daughters in college and watching her son play sports as much as possible.
